Teachers are modern-day heroes. Teaching one student is already a challenge, so imagine how a teacher in a classroom must feel like. Teachers are not all the same, though. There are qualities that one teacher might possess, and the other might not. Below, we list down the positive qualities that great teachers possess.
- Great teachers don't give up on underachievers. They will try their very best to motivate their students. They will do whatever it takes to keep their students on their feet, and they set high expectations for everyone.
- Great teachers create a clear lesson plan. They will take the time to do a lesson plan which is designed to their students' needs. They must plan ahead and should learn never to cram. They must set goals for their students, and make sure that their students will achieve each and every one of those goals.
- Great teachers will try and engage with each and every one of her students. They do not just give homework and let the students figure it out by themselves; instead, they will try to ask questions and make students engage in every kind of way. They will ask if the students understand what they are teaching, and if they have any questions.
- Great teachers will reach out to their students, and will try to create a teacher-student bond with them. They will make the students feel like they are safe when they are in school. They will also make the students feel like they are the students' second parents.
These are just some of the qualities that every teacher must possess. We salute each and every one of you! Good luck and thank you!
